We are introducing RSO-1, our first model for financial analysis. Its first release focuses on digital assets, where markets trade continuously and new information can change expectations quickly.

RSO-1 analyses market information to identify signals worth investigating. We are making it available through an API so financial products can include the model in their own interfaces. The initial task is to help someone decide which asset deserves a closer look and begin examining it.

Putting a market move in context

A price move can have several explanations. An asset may be moving with the wider market, attracting more attention of its own or responding to new information. The visible change is a reason to investigate, and the surrounding context helps someone decide what to make of it.

That context also changes with the question being asked. A person following a move over a short period is looking at something different from someone assessing an asset over several months. Research needs to make the period of interest clear enough for the reader to judge its relevance.

We are building RSO-1 around the task of identifying assets for investigation and making the analysis easier to use. Its signals give people a starting point that they can examine alongside current market information and their own expectations.

From observation to expectation

An observation about recent activity and an expectation about the future answer different questions. Increased interest in an asset can explain why someone may want to examine it. Deciding what might follow requires considering the evidence for that expectation and the conditions that could change it.

This relationship is central to our work on financial intelligence. We are interested in how information changes a view of the market, and how that view holds up as later events become known. A useful piece of analysis should give the reader enough context to examine the idea for themselves.

In a product, that could mean reviewing a signal beside an asset’s chart or returning to a market already on a watchlist. The model contributes analysis to the task; the person using the product decides how it relates to the question they are investigating.

Available through an API

An API lets a product choose where RSO-1 fits. A trading platform can present a signal beside an asset. A research tool can place it within an existing watchlist, where an analyst is already comparing markets and following developments.

The surrounding experience remains with the product, including its charts and the actions available to its users. RysoAI develops the model supplying the analysis. This gives a partner a way to introduce financial intelligence without asking people to move their research into another application.

Starting with financial markets

RSO-1 is our first model in a wider effort to predict future events. Financial markets give that work a practical starting point: information changes, expectations can be expressed and later outcomes provide something to examine.

We intend to extend our models to other subjects and develop interfaces for working with their predictions. RSO-1 begins with market analysis delivered through an API, ready for products that want to put a signal alongside the information their users already follow.
